Jiki Stories

The jikijitsu is the person who leads zazen and other Zen training in the dojo. In follow-up to the jikijtisu training of we held in October, we will hold a discussion for jiki training graduates and current jikis who are interested in coming together again.

Greene Roshi recently shared a collection "jiki stories" from folks as a way to document what jikis do best - exhibiting the strength and sensitivity at the heart of our training. The stories were meant to be inspiration for new generations of jikis. This time around, we welcome participants’ stories, questions, or any further discussion about the role of the jiki.

This Jiki story session will be Sunday, December 18, 7:30-8:45am CT in US (2:30-3:30pm CET in Europe). You can join using the same Daily Zazen link. See you there.

Events through Chosei Zen are donation-based and open to all regardless of ability to pay. All donations are very much appreciated and help keep our dojos running! You can donate here.
